Johannesburg in Isolation

'Johannesburg in Isolation' is a project made during spring 2020 in the unsettling spaces of Parktown, Hillbrow, Marshalltown, and Braamfontein in the city of Johannesburg. The project documents the region of central Johannesburg during the coronavirus pandemic from September through October 2020 and helps me to integrate photographic praxis, reflection and healing in the time of [mass] isolation following my own morbid isolation due to coronavirus exposure.
