Douglasdale

Douglasdale is a suburb in Sandton, Johannesburg. This is where I discovered photography as a teenager by borrowing my father's camera. This is a selection of black and white pictures made in winter 2022 within 5 consecutive days in the suburbs of Douglasdale, Bryanston, Olivedale, and Jukskei Park, that help me to prime my perception of colour.
